When is the last time you did something for YOU?
Let's face it:
We tend to keep ourselves really busy.
We juggle multiple things.
We try to be a great leader, team mate, spouse, parent, sibling, entrepreneur, etc.
Our focus often is on other people and things to do.
We spend a lot of time OUTSIDE and sometimes forget to look after the INSIDE.
We're IN the woods. Not hovering above the woods.
It's a good idea to give space and time to yourself.
No one else will do it for you.
Therefore: invest time, money and effort in YOU.
We are moving into a really special time. And I am not referring to Christmas or New Year.
What we are talking about is the weeks prior to the festive season.
Reason being: the next three weeks is where you make your bed for 2022.
What will happen in 2022 largely relies on the actions you take NOW.
One of those actions, along with reflection and planning, is letting go.
All the coaching calls that I have done over the past 11 months clearly show to me that people are holding on to negative sentiment of some kind.
Trauma, disappointment, loss, pain, grudges... you name it.

As ancient wisdom says, there is a seed of good in everything. Covid, for example, although it set my business back financially in a major way initially, has been a blessing in disguise.
"Why do people do what they do?"
Ever since I went to uni to become a psychologist, I've had this question top of mind. I wanted to decipher the human mind.
Nowadays people often ask me something similar, albeit more personal:
"How do I figure out what my purpose is?"
Let's admit it, we all go through phases of maximum motivation and moments of despair.
In the former case we have a high sense of purpose, we enjoy high levels of energy and are geared to taking action.
In the latter case, we lack a sense of direction, our energy is deflated and we keep to ourselves.
While we are proactive and get things done in one state, we are reactive and procrastinate in the other.
Same person - yet a different dynamic!
Why?
We're back to the topic of having a clear purpose.
With it, the world is our oyster. We naturally are poised and have a "can do" attitude. Nothing seems too major.
Without it, we feel like a mess. We're missing something... And we give up before we even star...
