What does it really take to win the day in business and in life?
In my latest podcast episode (#11), I sat down with Scott Iverson, National Sales Trainer at Watkins Wellness, to unpack the principles behind sustainable performance.
He’s coached thousands of sales professionals and business owners—yet what he shared has nothing to do with scripts, hacks, or hustle.
Instead, it’s about showing up with presence…
Being authentically you…
Listening better than anyone else…
And above all, loving people.
We also explored the 3 P’s every business owner and leader needs to build a high-performing, purpose-driven team:
➡️ Place – people feel proud to be where they work
➡️ People – they enjoy the company of those around them
➡️ Purpose – they believe in what your organisation stands for
When these 3 align, your team doesn’t just perform—they thrive.
This conversation will leave you grounded, inspired, and ready to lead with heart.

Think about $1 billion as a price tag...

We can learn a thing or two from the man who is gradually moving into the role of CE: Chief Evangelist.
This is such an interesting question, especially now that talent is scarce and companies are all fighting for the same people.
Nicole Swaine from Explore Potential has an interesting perspective, which I thank her for sharing.
Instead of keep trying to attract established people and getting nowhere, why not hire young people for attitude, personal flair, and values so that you attract a great fit for your company and culture? You can then "mold" them and equip them with the right training, coaching and systems so that you set people up for success right from the get go.
While there are good reasons why you'd hire an experienced person, there certainly are many benefits of giving motivated, self starters an opportunity to grow with your business.
