What was and what will be - 12 learning lessons

We rolled into 2022 and the question now is: what are you going to do differently this year?

This can be the year in which you absolutely crush it.

The year in which you open your heart, expand your mind, clarify your vision, break through personal limitations and succeed greatly.

Abundance is what I want for you in all areas of life. 

Having reflected on 2021, I'd like to share my 12 learning lessons with you as they might serve you too:

1. The importance of connection through community and family.
2. The world reflects what goes on inside. Think good and you see good.
3. When travel is restricted, people are put to the test. Inspiration is a choice that reveals itself in our activities. TV rarely is inspiring.
4. Less is more. You can do less and be more productive at work. Focus on what’s valuable.
5. Cracking the digital marketplace can be difficult but is worth investing in.

Changes I am making for you (COVID-19)

 

As promised, Tom, I hereby fill you in on the very changes that I am making to be of greater service to you.

Needless to remind you that times are difficult: jobs are drying up, there is social distancing until we will all have to stay home, people are unwell, etc. 

While this can easily bring us down, it is my job to provide guidance, cheer you up and show you the various opportunities to make the most of the situation so that you can still thrive NOW.

As a reminder, we will be spending more time at home in the coming weeks and months... Whether you like it or not. We will have more time at hands. I suggest we invest a portion of that time in "meaningful" activities

One, for sure, is to deepen your relationship with people you care about. Family, friends, clients. Skype, FaceTime and WhatsApp are our ally. We all need human connection and feel loved.

Looking in the rearview mirror

If you were to look in the rearview mirror of your life and business, what would you see?

  • Does what you see make you happy?
  • Or do you recognise that you would be in a much better place today if only you would have made different decisions earlier?

If only...

I'm not trying to make you feel bad just for the sake of it.

Rather, by being honest with yourself, you can make different decisions today.

Those decisions lead you down a different path to a different future with different outcomes.

Last week, a person who is more passionate about life and personal development than most people I know, asked me what the #1 success habit is. 

She came from the angle that, as we get busy in our professional and personal life, we tend to cut corners to fit as much in as we can.

There is not enough time for everything, so we pick, choose and drop.

It's worth asking ourselves: "What sets us up for a great day - every day?"
