Inspired Actions

When I reflect on the last few years, and put my finger on what truly made my heart sing at work, it was when I engaged in the act of selfless giving.

I would deliver a talk to an audience and give them my heart and soul.

I would train a group of people and seek to inspire them to make meaningful changes in the way they operate in business.

I would consult to an organisation in a manner to solve a pressing problem for them with all my love.

And finally, I would coach a client 121 with an accountability stick to guide them towards progress without ever wanting the outcome more than they wanted it for themselves.

Equally, I have chased the carrot for personal glory too. And how wonderful the Universe operates!

Each time I did, I was treated on a learning experience that taught me better. One that reminded me of the Universal Laws such as The Law Of Cause and Effect, The Law of Fair Exchange, The Law of Detachment, The Law of Intent and Desire, The Law of Least Effort, The Law of Pure Potentiality, etc.

In business, rarely are these laws talked about. They tend to be reduced to insignificance, and yet, I have found that honouring them to be critical to the success of any business.

As much as breathing in and out is to our lungs.

So, as we live in a contracted economy, how can we better serve a growing number of people doing what we love, all while being compensated well for the value that we bring?

As long as we come from the right space within (meaning: the action is inspired by doing good to others), you might find the following to help you grow your business:

  • Put out content that benefits the people that you want to serve and that makes you as a person more relatable.
  • Educate people online on what you stand for, who you work with, how you assist them and why you do it.
  • Package up your knowledge and experience in a 'product' that can be shared with people anywhere 24/7.
  • Make offers to your followers, and leverage technology to do the heavy lifting for you, so that you can free up time while growing your client base simultaneously.
  • Turn the dynamic around: instead of you chasing a prospect, build the relationship in such ways that people approach you because they want to do business with you.

Already back in 2016, I wrote about the fact that selling is out in my first book. That is even more true today.

Customers are still out there, looking to buy your product or service. And they have got a choice between you and many others.

So WHY should they choose you?

Ask me, and the answer is simple: once people recognise you as THE leader in your field, you have reached the status that very few in your industry do.
